American Solutions to Sanitary Sample Valves
A sanitary sample valve is a type used in industries that perform the processing to take some of what is processed and test it. The tested material is in liquid form and tests are performed to check the quality or even identify the product. There are different types of sanitary valves used for sampling. One type of this type is the pneumatic-type aseptic sampling valve. This is the kind of valve that you will find in a brewery, a dairy or a cellar. These are industries that practice a high level of hygiene. One standard model will have a silicone diaphragm while the other with a micro-type connector will have an EPDM diaphragm.
The aseptic sanitary sample valves generally have four parts namely the body, the head, a diaphragm and the actuator. The core of the valve is on the valve head and is made having a rubber valve diaphragm secured to the axis of the valve head. The ends are usually welded, threaded or tight. With regard to the technical specifications, these valves also have a pressure with which they must function as their counterparts sanitary butterfly valves. The pressure is eighty-seven while the maximum temperature required for sterilization is one hundred and thirty degrees centigrade, but with dry steam, it is a little under one hundred and twenty-one degrees centigrade. When steam is used, it must be dry because the water destroys the diaphragm. This means that after 100 samples, the diaphragm must be replaced by a new one.

Another type of sanitary sample valve for an American solution is mainly used in piping systems and can also be found on tanks. Depending on what the customer wants, the termination can be tightened, threaded or welded. The minimum pressure they can work with is 10 bar while the maximum temperature in which they can operate is two hundred eight degrees Fahrenheit. Unlike sanitary ball valves, sanitary sampling valves are used with low-viscosity materials, such as beer and wine. When the wheel is moved clockwise, it opens the valve for sampling and when it is turned counterclockwise, it closes the valve.
